Twilight NoonA Poem by Water BlakmonThe character of infidelityIf ever there was a dawning night A day full of bittersweet presumption A day dream of heavy clouds forsaking The oppressions of wind A color scheme that captures the essence Of a soul out of order Displaced by warm blooded worms Dirty and two legged Worms whose nature it is to break up things Squirming in and out of situations Slick and slimmy spirited Heartless and blind They can't even see the artistic cascades Of rainfall they benefit from ~~~~~~~~ Here I sit wading the earth Having been ran through Asif I was hollow as if I could be cut in two Without my spirit escaping Then I'd really be hollow My glory introduced to fuliginous feasts Insignificant and obscure A world where I smile and taste tears Where I cry and my bones shatter Where you hear... Agonizing screams within' my laughter Where the spiritual becomes the tangible Memories replaying of loving acceptance Through a whirlwind of bitter rejection A memory of the oblivious and the realization Reflections of my face over a still stream relating Things that come and go Passing by so rapidly it smears an image Disfiguring the warmth of notable resemblance Imagining your face before so that I finally can ask? ...After a life time of soul searching, before our souls could mate Why did you sell it to the devil?
