WHEN NIGHTS TURN COLD

WHEN NIGHTS TURN COLD

A Poem by Water Blakmon
"

CHANGES

TIME SIGNATURES A MOMENT

TEMPERATURE GAUGES THE CHILL

FOLLOW ME INTO A TWILIGHT

BETWEEN BROWN SUGAR TWO TONES

BLACK DIAMOND DUNES

ERUPT OUT OF PARK CREEKS

THE MEEKNESS IN HER EYES

I SEE...

FOLLOW ME INTO A TWILIGHT

OCTOBER IS THE 10TH SOLDIER

WARM NIGHTS WITH THE WIFEY

THANKSGIVING GIVES EARLY

I HEAR...

HUNGER PAINS FRESH OFF THE SHOULDER

DIGITAL DISPLAY ARRAY THE FIX

WHO TEXT THE GIST...

WHO'S MOBILE IS THIS?

BOUND TO BE BETWIXT TWO BLUETEETH

WIFE AND HUBBY IN THE SAME ROOM

WHO'S LEFT TO PRESUME

THE AIR OF FUNKINESS DEFUSED

ELUSIVE DUTY CALL AH NAH'...

FREAK THE FLIRT BABY

PROMISED ME DESSERT

MAKE IT...AND IF YOU HAVE

OTHER APPOINTS BETTER MAKE IT!

THE CARE IT MUST TAKE

TURNING PUMPKINS INTO PIE

CINNAMON, NUTMEG

VANILLA EXTRACT

OFFSPRING OF SOMETHING FOWL

STIRRING AND BEATING

BREAKING DOWN AND FILLING

HEATING AND TEMPERING

WATCHING AND HANDLING

...WITH CARE?

BLACKBERRY JONES

MOBILE MYTHS OF MOTO Q'S

RENDEVOUS UNDER THE MOON

PREPARE THE MOOD...

SHOWERED DOWN HOT TO TOUCH

FRENCH OPTIONS SHEA BUTTER DROPPINGS

LATHERED LOUFFA OR BUBBLING BRICKS

OATMEAL FILLS CANT CLEANSE THE FUTILE

LOUCHE LOTIONS

DEMULCENT DOLLOPS

SALUBRIOUS SPRITS

AROMATIC MISTS

ZIPPED...SHE MIGHT BE FLIPPED

BUCKLED...HE MIGHT BE SNAPPED

BUTTONED...SHE MIGHT BE TIED

POPPED...SHE MIGHT BE WRAPPED

SLAP THE DUST OFF THE DASH

MP3 PLAY ON MY WAY

WAVES RIDE LIKE THE CURVES

MUCH HANDLING OFF THE SWERVE

DAMP GROUND NO SOUND

FLAKES FLY THE SKY

INTRICATE AND DELICATE

SKIN STAINS THE BOUNDS

THE PLACE CENTER 6TH ST BRIDGE

MODE TWILIGHT A RIPE WAIT

EAST SIDE ON FOOT SHE COMES IN SIGHT

AN OPEN SCARF ESCAPING FLIGHT

SMILES MIGHT CAPTURE A DECADE

A FINITE SCRATCH INTO A SOULS ETERNITY

A LIFT OF LASH AND A SHIFT OF SASH

IMPRINTED STEPS ALMOST ETCHED TO LAST

INTO THE ARMS OF SOMETHING OLD

PUMPKIN PIE AT HOME GETTING COLD

TWO CLOSE FRIEND'S HANDS HOLD

PUMPKIN PIE AT HOME GETTING COLD

FIRST DRIVE BY: WAVE HI!

SCARF FLIES...OH, SHE LOOKS SO SURPRISED!

SECOND DRIVE BY:  SHE RUNS DOWN EAST BOUND...

THE FRIEND BEGINS TO FROWN...OH MY MY MY...

MY LAUGHTER IS THE CRYPTONITE

SHE SUPER...AND NEED TWO MEN TO SATISFY

BETTER BEAT THE LOCKSMITH HOME

ALREADY HAD THE MAN ON THE PHONE

TIME SIGNATURES A MOMENT

TEMPERATURE GAUGES THE CHILL

FOLLOW ME INTO A TWILIGHT

BETWEEN BROWN SUGAR TWO TONES

BLACK DIAMOND DUNES

ERUPT OUT OF PARK CREEKS

THE SNEAK IN HER EYES

FUTILE...

THAT TIME WHEN TRUTH SETS YOU FREE.
