The Stone of Love

The Stone of Love

A Poem by Viktor
"

The first poem I ever tried to write

"

A woman was waiting on a bench in the park
For her man so lovely, mysterious and dark
She was a bit Angry, for he was was late
She waited and waited, and her loved turned to hate
How dared he be late and leave her alone
She was so angry she picked up a stone
She threw it hard over a tree
Where something happened, that she did not see

On the other side a man stood waiting
For the beautiful girl he was currently dating
He was a bit angry, for she was late
He waited and waited, and his love turned to hate
All of a sudden, something hit his head
And within a second, the man was dead

She never found out about his terrible fate
And forever her heart was filled with hate
For the man she had brutally slain
She never heard his cries of pain
She thought of herself as an innocent dove
And never understood she had killed her love

How very ironic. This is quite interesting and speaks rather well to the side of impatient, judgmental and misunderstanding human nature. I enjoyed it.
