You are aliveA Poem by DivineIt's very hard to lose people and even harder to lose them again
We came here hiding tears with smiles,
Everyday something within dies. Living in a world full of lies, People tightening fake ties. Don't you miss me, Don't you miss my glee. Don't you miss riding horses in vast lands, That were rain to my hearts barren sands. Don't you miss lying down holding hands. Don't you miss the rain dance, Cure to my diseases was your glance. Don't you miss the innocent love, The beautiful European turtle dove. Don't you miss counting stars at night, How, like a moon i used to glow in your light. Don't you miss the walks through streets, The playful giggles and those secret meets. Don't you miss the colouring of walls, The stupid fights and the lament full falls. Don't you miss the lollypop rule of one lick, Don't you want my name on your guitar pick. Don't you miss the rule of sharing everything, To my barren winters your thoughts are the spring. Don't you miss apricot tree on which we used to cling, In my dreams i always hear you sing. Don't you miss the game of swing, And the beautiful flower promise ring. Don't you miss eating with eyes on each other, And enjoying the most harsh weather. Don't you miss the silly fights for the tv remote, And the bubbles on each other that we used to shoot. Don't you miss the siberian one we named kitty, And my tears when you moved to that city. Even though you are unreachable now, One thing or other still reminds me of you somehow. For the world you might not be alive, But into my heart just a little dive. And they'll know that in a hopeful me, From always has been living thee. ~Divine © 2024 DivineAuthor's Note
