Blinded beauty

Blinded beauty

A Poem by Divine Pen

He saw her by the stream

Unaccompanied she sat

Tossing small rocks in the river bed

While the wind softly blew

Her tresses over her face now and then flew

Radiant and glowing was her skin

Her lips luscious pink

The smile on the face brightened the day

Her eyes were luminous blue

Love at first sight it was for the artist

A beauty on the canvas he must put

Several strokes and sometime later

The innocence and beauty on paper he had captured

With his best work he headed straight to her

"Young lady ,you are the most attractive women I met

This portrait of yours you shall adore I bet"

Tears rolled down her beautiful eyes hesitantly she said

"Sorry sir  the world around me is but colorless.

I am afraid  I am vision less."
