Kind

Kind

A Poem by DivineButterfly85

Butterfly at my window seal
Peering through the glass

Does your kind acknowledge
All the beautiful colors that you have?

Or does your kind segregate
The ones Egyptian blue?

Butterfly at my window seal
Yes dear, I'm looking at you!

Wondering if you could teach my kind
How to be more like you...

Very lovely work.
Love the imagery.
My favorite lines are:
"Butterfly at my window seal
Peering through the glass"

Short, but beautiful, as is the message. Hopefully, humanity is at the caterpillar stage, and at some point, will be transformed into the beauty that we are capable of.
