Little SecretsA Poem by EndeavorIs there really something you want to hide? One early
morning Up on
dandelion hill In
gentle tone And feathery
breath The wind
told me Its little
secrets:
How proud
the sunset is At
the sight of its colors Spilling
on the rice fields ---
How blissful
birds are Watching
poppies dance In
rhythm with the breeze---
How
gentle the sea laughs As
the fish swim its waves Rolling
in a quiet hymn---
How
lively the forest greets With
trees in summer greens As
fairies begin to sing ---
How splendid
the night is Sparkling
with soft stars And fireflies
in emerald sheen ---
How lonely
the great sky is Seeing
many lovers depart Shattered
with broken dreams---
I blew
the dandelion tufts And felt
the mild caress On my
face ---
I
smiled, And
whispered to the wind---
“Would
you like to hear mine?”
