There's a lie inside our home
It only rests between us both
and I'm lost trying to figure this out
I swear I've been there before, have I seen you before

And there is no word
to put you in your place
so I'll pretend to see it through
a lie is made for you.

You said you've never felt so real
Only tasted how it feels
and I can't help but notice, you're not laughing anymore
You're not trying anymore.

And it's no longer my place
to figure out who's wrong
so I'll pretend to see it through
no love will lie for you....
