Once there was a king
Who had a wise queen
To be honest, I had no idea
How the start should have been.

So this poem's about a friend
More of a partner I would say
She met me at a time
Don't remember was it June or May.

That was a joke haan,
Even if the 31st of February, it doesnt matter
Noteworthy is, i found her
With one serendipitious encounter.

That's the catch right!
A new relationship is an endeavour of surprises.
It comes without a clue
Like a thing out of the blue.

She reeks of creativity
She never ceases to amaze,
She could drive too,
I hope that day comes through.

Let's look at how I met her
It was a marriage I remember
Seems now a long-gone chapter
' The Chauffeur and the Aviator.'

She is an artist,
An impressive one I mean,
A dab hand at art
Nobody like i have ever seen.

If someday, I get a treasure map
And with all arrangements, we set sail for it,
I know she'll lose the way
But we'll enjoy the journey, all of it.

A breath of fresh air,
A disposition sweet as honey
A place to seek sanctuary
from life's monotony.

She has a universe
A Constitution of ideas and dreams
An amalgamation of fact and fiction and
A departure from life's extremes.

She likes a trip to peace,
A penchant for coffee and its peers too
One hell of an artist at friendship
A lovely admirer too.

The way she handles herself
amidst all the life's defecation
in forms of people,
formalities and obligations.

A gem, finest in the treasure trove
Rarest one folks plummet for
Spend a couple of moments
And You'll always be wanting more.

There were times when i may have been rude,
A part of the parcel, i conclude
But this, today, is a way
To thank my stars and feed them gratitude.

Well. Today's a jollification of the
life you have earned for your self
Look at it, reminisce about it
Count your blessings, keep them on your shelf.

I wave in valediction & wish you fortune
Make your music, dance to its tunes
Engage in the festivities of life
Smile, never let a moment go by.
