A short tribute to labourers..

Looking at their innocent faces,
In conditions hard and severe,
Makes me think of the reasons,
That brings them here.

Working to their utmost strength,
With their families away,
Why do they work so hard!
For little pennies a day.

Living a penurious life,
Their woes never end,
How hard the conditions may be,
Their courage never bends.

The amount they earn
Seems like a gem
A pinch of smile on their loved ones
That’s life to them

Can we ever be thankful
For all they do
They complete us
Yes… They do !
