Sonnet 1000A Poem by Coldfire
Dawn was accompanied by a lovely breeze air into the lungs with ease
Petals eye catching, beauty to make one speak in tongues with awe. Mood merry like a dog off the leash What eyes saw was the reason behind the dropped jaw Womb feeling joy was from floor to the ceiling Joy abundant in a river of happiness a captain sailing Cupid overworked his arrows sharp as thorns pinching like snowflakes Keep it someone said for you to forever be glad Stupid was I, forgetting about dusk I have myself to blame for being mad With the sun gone I froze, became dark pale swem in a snow lake Joy comes is the morning but after yawning I started mourning It is dark now but I wish not another morning yesterday I'm still yearning Yes they bloomed and with winter they where blew with the dusk Dawn brings joy and liveliness but leave space for dusk © 2014 Coldfire |
