Inside of Somewhere

Inside of Somewhere

A Poem by dramamine
"

Basically a part 2 of my other poem ´To the Boy I´ll Never Know´ and yes you have to suffer through another part, I apologize in advance.

"
Your subtleties feed my addiction,
My broken words can´t mend this affliction,
Can I wrap you up and call you mine?
Can you cut me up and fill me with flies?
In my head,
In my heart,
In my arms,
All mine, all mine,
Hands so cold,
Body lingering to withhold,
Hair soft and set in gold,
Don´t try to hide in the shadows tonight,
Cause I´ll find you and make it alright,

Blood pulsating through hollow eyes,
Flooding over self-created lies,
Insecurities dripping through your insides,
Spreading over your naked suicide,

I´m breathing in your light, suffocating in your sight,
Cobwebs catching our voices, fighting through my spite,
I promise I´ll try and save you tonight,

My fear is numb, your limbs are strung,
My God, what have I become?
No, please, I didn´t mean to hurt you,
Oh God, I didn´t mean to love you,
Regret soaked in shame,
Spit your pain in all of me,
Your innocence purifying my brain,
Your fragile features driving me insane,

Inside of somewhere, where I´ll find you,
Blending with the crowds just to make it through,
Fighting against the tides, laying by my side,
Like silence whispering along my spine,
Brushing past your confines,
But it´s all in my mind, someplace I´ll never find,
So with a heavy sigh I´ll sign this letter, address it to,
The Boy I Never Knew.

I found it very emotional and enjoyed it as a read but I connect with the feelings portrayed in your writing. you craft your words very well.

I really loved this. It flowed together so smoothly and each of the transitions fit perfectly with the idea of the stanzas that followed after it. Great Job! :)
