Corridors of DespairA Poem by dramamineJust a poem, make of it what you will.Lost dolls and empty halls. Broken walls and echoing calls. Diming lights and darker nights. Ashes and haunting memories float in the air. A lone prayer in the corridors of despair. Peel off the skin. Forgotten by your kin. Thrown in the bin by your sins. Blank eyes and desperate cries. A lone flare in the corridors of despair. Bombs and blood. Dirtied by the mud. Gunshots and tighter knots hung in the corridors of despair. Refugees and serpentine. Dying for a lost cause. Wrap me in your gauze. Where’s your god? Flawed and awed. In this time of need we bleed and plead for your greed. No longer free in the corridors of despair. © 2015 dramamineFeatured Review
