ReflectionA Poem by dramamineMake of it what you willTighten your corset. Straighten your portrait. Prepare for torment. Don’t forget the cement. The children weep. The demon’s creep. Prepare to sleep. They poison the chosen. Frozen in time. Don’t forget that you’re mine. Prepare the shrine. Your death wish has come true. Come now, it’s long overdue. Enter my lair. Say your prayer. Bless this tragic affair. My child don’t be scared. It’s only fair. Gather ‘round my throne. Throw a stone. Crush the bone. Make sure they know. My child don’t you see?
Don’t try to flee it’s always been me. © 2015 dramamineFeatured Review
