Everything but Nothing

Fear everything. Remember, everything is nothing. (This really isn't a poem even thought the genre is under poetry. It's the closest genre, I believe.)

Ahaha.. if they knew, knew what I was. If only. They'd know.. that I was their worst nightmare. The boogieman beneath their beds, waiting for them. They would know I was such a creature not to be messed with. Not to be picked on. I am their worst fear. Their worst enemy. I’m the germs in their cuts. I’m the virus in their stomach. The soul keeper, the one waiting for them to pass on, waiting on the other side. I am a monster. A vicious beast. A creature so amazing, no sound can be uttered from your mouth, no thought can pass through your mind, nothing will make sense in my presence. If only they knew who I was. Who I am… Who am I? I am everything! No matter what… I’m there when everything happens. Try to keep me out of your thoughts. You may bring me into your mind one day and then that will be it. I am contagious. I am a sneeze. A cough, a hiccup, a yawn. I am normal. I am a everyday thing. I’m everywhere. Once I’m in your head, I cannot be taken out. You’ll want more. But I won’t allow such a thing. I am too great for your imagination… no one can grasp my concept. You don’t know what I am, do you? If only you knew my friend, no we are not friends. We are nothing. I don’t know you. And you’ll never know me. Don’t think you’ll ever know me. I’m the power your tiny mind cannot latch onto and comprehend.. I am magic. The friction of your shoes when you walk. I am gravity, space, air. I am a orb, a spirit, a ghost. I’m a teacher, student, principal. I am words, speech, grammar. I'm a thick accent hard to understand. I’m the stranger on the corner. You may think.. Maybe I am the devil. Wrong. No I’m not god. I’m nothing. I am nothing. The nothing you should worry about. Be afraid. Be scared of nothing because you don’t know what’s out there. You don’t know what I am. Remember boys and girls. I am out there. So be aware.
