The beautiful risk

I see you looking at me
Checking me out
You say that you love me
That I highly doubt
Love is a word
Or passion and pain
When you feel attached to who you love
With a metal chain
You can't stand to leave them
To just wal away
You can't be without them
For even a day
You must be careful
When you say the words
"I love you" to someone
Or you might get hurt
What best describes love
Is the word "heart-ache"
Because at one point or another
Love leads to heartbreak
It can lead to a blade in your hand
And blood drenched wrists
Because falling in love
Is a beautiful risk

Is it really worth it, falling in love? Honest opinions please, on the poem not the question it's a rhetorical question.

You beautifully described the feelings we all have when we feel we started falling for somebody, typically at first we try to ignore and deny our feelings hoping this way we'll protect our hearts specially as we remember those times we got hurt, but if we really care we'd surrender eventually and admit the truth, you said it all with the last two lines " falling in love is a beautiful risk", I really enjoyed this poem and I could totally relate to it, you absolutely spoke my mind.

I will answere anyways. No it's not. I know what happens it is never worth it especially when it happens more than once. I like the poem it tells the honest truth and that is good to me.
