Pain is good

A five year old boy falls and scrapes his knee
A seven year old girl breaks her best barbie
A ten year old boy lost his first girlfriend
A thirteen year olds relationship has come to an end
Pain is different and is different by age
But the feeling of pain will never change
A burn, a bruise, a bump, a scrape
A fifteen year olds failed first date
We say pain is bad but I don't think that's true
It can be bad but it's also good too
Pain is what keeps us going, we wait for days to get better
It will happen someday although you might think that's never.

I really like this. I like how you mention a kind of hope for the future, I think that is way that a lot of people, myself included, live. Just dealing with the pain and continuing on in hopes that things will get better.

Pros: A good idea, with a good rhyme scheme to go along with it. It flows, and you convey the idea behind it really well.

Cons: The third line from the bottom sounds funny having the words "also" and "too" in the same line together. Perhaps remove "also" since "too" is the one creating the rhyme? And, the last line ends a bit funny, it might just be the wording of it. Try playing around with it. Here's a bit of advice. It seems to me that you wanted this poem to rhyme, so you made it, squished it into this AABB rhyme scheme. Sure, rhyming helps it flow, but strongly hinders a poem if the poem wasn't made to rhyme. I think this one would have been a lot better if you would have written it straight from the heart.

A very well written poem which expresses the truth that we must all learn from our painful experiences I really liked how you used juveniles as they still have a long life ahead of them so to feel pain is to get used to society I really liked this poem well done
