My Name is Fear

My Name is Fear

A Poem by Shannon Howard

I have the control that you lost long ago.
Welcome to your nightmares, your fears will be shown.
Distraught by my presence of which you cant escape.
I control your destiny, I control your fate.
I have no mercy, no remorse.
They way you live is by my force.
You cannot hide, you cannot run.
For me, the pain you feel is fun.
Your anxiety may very well make you sick.
Every thought you have is one I pick.
Holding tight onto your mind.
There is no help that you will find.
I hold your life within my hands.
The plan I have for you is grand.
Alone and miserable, you will be.
You will always cry and you will plead.
Try to run and I will follow.
Ill make you feel empty, make you feel hollow.
I will not ever let you free.
I have your weakness. You cannot flee.
The hell I plan for you is torture.
I will not ever let you move forward.
You will not ever win my game.
You are my slave, stuck in my chains.

They way you live is by my force...should this start out The instead of They?
Overall very nice flow to your words and the sentiment of how fear can rule ones every movement & thought was really brought out here. Great job
