Between us,
Between us there's a gap
That seems to take eternity
To get us together.
There was a clear a map
That lead us to meet
So painful that our hands
Can't touch with certainty

Between us lies a barrier
I would like to break
So that I can embrace you
I hope smiles I fake
Will touch your heart
Let you see my heart is a carrier
Of pure love for you.

Between us lives a lie
That has to die
For us to flourish in truth
As our Lord wills.
Correct the past mistake
For truths sake
Let us just be one.

Between us
Is a bold question mark
But I need answers
I need your love
Don't mind any bark
Let the miracle happen
Let us be united forever

Between us
Let there be no gap
Let us be secure
Let my heart be sure
That you'll always be mine
That you won't mind
What anyone says
But love me.

I wrote this yesterday I actually wanted a 14 syllable poem but I missed making this one so.
