The Blue Ocean

A little poem about someone who I loved and cherished like my other half.

You're like a sunset,
Beautiful yet distant.
I know you'll always
Be there for me.

But will you,
Be there for me?

We were the ocean,
Calm in the beginning.
Yet when we went on,
We attracted a thunderstorm.

But at the end,
You were there for me.

Now we're like a boat,
And the dock.
You sail away from me,
And I wait upon this rock.

This is the end,
But also a beginning
