The Black Dog

The Black Dog

A Poem by Dirkgently1066
"

Depression is the guest who never leaves

"

It is quieter now, the storm has passed by

There's no need to pretend or to silently cry

Yet in the distance the Dog barks still

There is no quick solution, no magic pill

Somewhere inside my soul still weeps

The wound never heals, the Dog never sleeps.
