Freedom

Freedom

A Poem by Luis Gabriel
"

Finally broke some writer's block, let me know what you think!

"

Shredded half rings fall to the ground

Crashing amidst sonic shock

Like so many pebbles from giant rock

Sword came down, links fell around

Bended knees and a stained face

Above white light and dove flew

Blinding a dirty shielded face

Molten grace, effervescent man pierced

“Arise, you are slave, no more”

Warrior came and warrior stood

Not under covered darkness

Or shadowed hood, instead he came

Lightning grace, Spirit fire, Heart’s desire

The last line and the opening a complete contrast. I thought its all about race and war of this world.
Thank you for the good read .

From the first two groupings it seems to say that freedom only comes through violence...it made me stop and think of being bound and then...set free... thanks to my Lord znd Savior..No blood shed..but His..not mine..Kathie Good poem to creat a mind to thinking..
