Let Them ComeA Poem by Luis Gabriellol produced by a living fit of emotion lol. You’re lost inside. Your tired and you run. This isn’t a game anymore. This isn’t fun. Come, child don’t be afraid take my hand For both of us, God has a magnificent plan
You want a knight in shining armor. A warrior Bring me a sword then, I will put on the armor You say you have enemies. Let them come I will show them fear and teach them to run
Fortresses impede and great towers trap you? I will smash them; they are dusts before the truth I will grind them beneath my feet, broken by hammer Shh quite child its ok now, utter no sob nor stammer
They seek your faith. LET THEM COME They destroy your virtue with lies constantly spun. They seek your life. LET THEM COME They stole your smile and laugh, I say LET THEM COME
I shall say to them: "you have no right here, get away" Should they try, THEY SHALL NOT PASS They chase you with fear all the night and all the day Their attempts will wither as their bones turn to grass
I will protect you. Let my arms and legs be ancient trees My feet let them be boulders of times half past old My torso a hollow trunk to rest your heart and soul My hand bees nest, for attackers who seek your heart to freeze
I will be your shelter, have no fear I will be the one to wipe away those tears I will be your body if you will be my heart I will be yours from the very start © 2008 Luis GabrielReviews
