the chaos of words

the chaos of words

A Poem by Dionysian Gnostic

the chaos of words can be a symphony
at times noble enough to leap into the sky
though some are grim enough to savor the grave

in the end as each word finds
a home
an ear poised for feeding
the mighty poet plants a seed
that sprouts like whimsical thunder

I often wonder at the trigger inside; how a stray though can birth a poem; and no matter it be a mighty ode or a few simple lines, to birth it is what counts.

I think us poets are a lucky breed; and I cannot imagine not being able to unravel the chaos, or indeed the symphony within.

Beccy.

To hear or not to hear, that is the question? There's civility in this, an offering to be taken or refused. The chaos can indeed by a symphony but oh how dramatic its clamour if it hits the appropriate senses.

Fine language.. brevity intuitive.
