BaggageA Poem by Cherub ApathyEvery nulling word you whisper Crumbles as you breathe Holding back the soul descretion That's prying through your teeth
The color in your eyes Makes me sick... You're so f*****g jaded Jealousy made you stick beside me...
Failing to nothing In my own ignorance...
Step forward into anything Fighting what is struggling To keep these dreams, shed this skin and make something of this miracle
Gazing through a window I know you're watching over me As suddenly this mend-dilemna Inspires me to breathe When it feels like dying... Nothing short of Jesus Christ spitting in your face... Because there's no hope in trying... Everything was yours before I stepped into this place you call your world...
Failing to nothing In my own ignorance... Fail to nothing In my own ignorance...
Gifted and sifting Through guilty and lifted You know me but you dont trust me These insecurities feed off the life inside of me... but what's the truth?
Thank you for not judging me Thank you for your honesty I never thought that we could be anything forbidden
I just have too much baggage here to stay I didn't want it anyway...
Because it feels like dying... Nothing short of Jesus Christ Spitting in your face... There is no hope in trying... Everything is yours now that I've stepped out of this place inside your world...
I'm failing to nothing In my own ignorance... I've failed to nothing In my own ignorance...
Gifted.. you're sifting Through gulity and lifted You know me but you dont trust me These insecurities feed off the life inside of me...
Now what's the truth?
Dont leave me here, alone. I'm so afraid I've gone cold.
