Your Downfall

Your Downfall

A Poem by Cherub Apathy

You apologize as if it matters

The only one left to hold now is yourself

You pretend it goes on.. only knowing better

How much more should I have to say...

Your decaying compliance threatens stability

Running circles around your fear

Searching for sovreignty

Unbend the truth...

Arrest the uncertainties still present in my dreams

Just say that you know..

That you're not..

What you stand for..

For instance..

Show me your downfall

Jealous and incompatent

So what did you stick around for

You had to build my ego?

Fill my head with bullshit reparations?

F**k your intentions to just say anything

Now say that you know..

That you're not..

What you stand for..

For instance..

Show me your downfall

Worthless and incompatent

What a perfect waste of confrontation

Challenged by your mediation

Now I know every lie

So you have nothing left to hide...

..but the experience has helped the process

show the battle of your dignity.. lost

Now you know..

That you're not..

What you stand for..

For instance..

Show me your downfall

Worthless and incompatent..
