Sitting

Sitting

Sitting atop a mountain.

Sitting atop a hill.

It’s a beer and sunburn sunday,

Don’t shave your sideburns,

And spend your time grilling,

-Post-mortem, freezer burnt, lovely.

It’s a white and blue sunday,

(Stripes today, okay?)

Jet streams pierce the uneventful,

Like stray lines on blank pages.

Hip-Hip-Hooray!

No need to get loud.

It’s just a ball game,

Shut your mouth,

It’s just half time,

Make me.
