![]() Fall to PiecesA Poem by DindellaIt’s not that I break away at all, It’s just that I fall, And in my broken ankles I crawl For your eyes to notice,
Because without your call, I couldn’t haul Myself out of bed, and I struggle to
draw These images that cloud my vision.
And once again I’m exceedingly raw, Ripping the throats out of my
emotions with my crooked jaws, Because without feeling, what am I
but a broken law? But still you don’t hear me.
An old wasted slaw, Eyes missing the rot seeping through
my teeth as I yawn, And how you never saw what I saw as I
fell apart, I’ll never know.
Because you don’t listen with your
eyes at all, You f*****g doll. Once upon a time, we made a cabal That you’ve now broken.
It’s not that I mean to fall, But there’s too much to hold me down
and it’s curtain call. Maybe we’re both renegades, after
all, Above all, and foremost.
I guess we’ll never know. © 2014 DindellaAuthor's Note
