Let the Water Rise

Feel the water rise
And know that it's alright
To feel the water rise;

It's fallen back in time
And the dark can never shine
But the water is just fine;

And it will carry on
Until the day is done,
So let the spicket run;

I feel the water rise
My heart is changing size
And my soul is chastised;

Let the water run
For all the things that can't be undone,
For all that I will do and done;

The salty ocean warm
Will carry me through this storm,
I know I can go on;

Let the water run.

I will almost never explain what my poetry means, since I don't want you to follow my meaning of it. The meaning is entirely up to you and I'd love to hear what your translation is, why it means something to you or why it doesn't. The more in-depth the better, but that doesn't mean you have to write something really long and depthy if you don't want to. I appreciate any and all reviews. <3
