Dreambiten

Just another repost from DA ( http://dindellathedefender.deviantart.com/art/Dreambiten-350220644 ), so you guys can see it here.

"
It would help when I tried to think
If when I blinked
You were there with me.
And so what if we sink
Forever?
There’s too much to see
And I, maybe, will stop looking ever.
Too much to cease.
I say too much, but no matter.
My eyes are shattering like broken cameras,
Cracks line my walls, and I,
I am drowning.

Dreams are ever haunting, so why don’t we give in?
If all is to shatter?
I sigh, frowning.
Maybe not quite frowning, but grinning the wrong way.
Sand slips through my fingers onto the beach and it’s nice,
But it’s snowing outside and I can’t feel it slipping away
Like the tide.

There’s too much at risk here, but I love you anyways.
But that’s silly, isn’t it?
So we sit here with our backs to the tides and our feet swimming,
Blood trailing from our eyes into the salty sea,
It hurts but it doesn’t hurt for long.

Author's Note

Dindella
I will almost never explain what my poetry means, since I don't want you to follow my meaning of it. The meaning is entirely up to you and I'd love to hear what your translation is, why it means something to you or why it doesn't. The more in-depth the better, but that doesn't mean you have to write something really long and depthy if you don't want to. I appreciate any and all reviews. <3
