Lovable, but not sexy

Lovable, but not sexy

A Chapter by Dina
"

Prologue: Inside the world of a woman who feels deeply loved, but not desired. Whether it be in her relationship, with her loved ones, or with society.

"
I am careful with the “I love you’s”

You act timid when I care for you

I feel scared that you’ll meet someone new

And Maybe she’ll find you at the bar

And Maybe she’ll seem just like a star

And maybe I’ll start to drift away from you

Jealousy is not a good look

But I’ve become an excellent cook

Never needed any cook book

Quiet pastimes sure look healthier now

Staying beneath the hood

Trying to preserve my light

And keeping it tight for you

You know that I’d fight for you

But why do my efforts

Turn into long lectures

And then you grow defensive?

You say you want me modest

That you’re rather private

Instead you seem careless

But why is it that your eyelids

Seem to go on silent rides when

New people pass by?

Carrying opposite vibes

Feels like you’re lying at times

I do not wish to fight..

Tread lightly on my care for you

It makes me wish that I

Was careful more than there for you
