People don't really care about your views, or your blues

There's a million of us out there trying to make it on the news

Like the Hollywood Casting chair

We must put on the ultimate performance

And do a few questionable things before the cult like following

And once the followers do come in

They aren't there because of your brilliant mind or how fine you are

But because you have something they want

So they'll butter you up and ask a few questions about your project

And once you're subdued, they'll ask for a few dollars out your pocket

What'll you do?

The show must go on baby, what'll you do?
