![]() EnmeshmentA Chapter by Dina
I told you I was experienced and clenched my teeth as you penetrated because that's how afraid I am of vulnerability.
And even after you left and the hormones kicked in, I pushed down every memory that would serve as a theft to my personal freedom. My first mirror. The first reflection of me I ever did see. We had the same demons, but executed quite differently. When seduction meets envy, we have one green monster that seeks the feast on the flesh of both impostures. You can't commit. I can't either, but I won't admit. I like you best when other women try to catch your interest. Yes, it makes me jealous but aleast I'm feeling something. It's better than the numbness. Things turn steady, I'm running again. Denying the other men and other women. We both know they stay near. We both know they creep in whenever you're not here. It's how I fill the emptiness, it's how I tame the fear. Make it better with the sex, yes. The elixir that brought us together. And when the passion kicks in we forget we're not right for each other. Hanging on to the idea that we're different from the rest and using this small notion to support the nest we plan on building with one another. But stable dreams need strong foundations. And whenever we reach up, the building begins shaking. The ground isn't holding us up anymore. So we ground ourselves in the liquor, while tears we ignore. We'll never do better. So cheers to you, and I, and the destruction of forever.
