![]() Heartbreak KidA Poem by Dina![]() Heartbreak girl dealing with her heartbreak.![]() ![]() I dealt with my demons by demonizing you And through your desperate eyes I saw that you would let me, too. Didn't mean to have you smoking heavier than normal. It's just that girls like me are loyal in the worst of ways, baby. And you knew once you let me slide in I would do damage. You should've known by all those second chances you handed me. I'm pretty controversial. But let's skip these long a*s commercials. I want to know who made you dead inside. I want to learn how I can bring you back to life. Because you see, I only break you to open you. I only close in when you're comfortable. Because in our generation, intimacy is tough pursuit. So I crab walk around your defenses looking for an opening. And once I reach your heart, I have you hoping I'll be back again. Because I don't have much to offer besides love. And that is the one thing you've been lacking.
