Letting Go

Letting Go

A Poem by Dina
"

Attachment issues tackled.

"

Apparently your heart's away for good this time.
I didn't even get a chance to reclaim myself
I know you're done with second chances
I should've never tried to chance it.
We used to be such hard romantics,
Forgiveness in the blank of an eye.
But guess I went way beyond the line,
 this time.
I took to long to figure everything out

You knew I loved protection,
So you had offered me your home.
You knew I was defenseless
So you loved me down to the bone.
And it was much at times.
I felt buried feelings
Surfacing, with purpose.

The hurt was coming back.

I couldn't deal with it
And I know I should've resisted
I was hiding thoughts you probably never knew existed
I was jumping to conclusions
 without your permission

And now I've messed this up
And now I've messed up all this love
And now I've now I've lost your love
And now I've lost what I want most

With all your permission...
With all your permission..
With all your permission..
With all your permission.

Hard Romantics. Love it. How sad but sweet it could be to say goodbye
