![]() Intruder AlertA Poem by Dina![]() Intruder Alert ** Self explanatory ;)![]() ![]() I left you long before my body could. Your silence, as sharp as the shank of a knife. Your language as dark as the peak of the night. I was loving something. . not someone. And everyday I was forced to search for a heart beat. I was forced to search for proof that we were one in the same. I was searching for the you that you first presented to me. The man full of wit. The mark of a king. How foolish of me. Couldn't I see that it was all a day dream? You wonderful shape shifter, you. Getting past my defenses and leaving me boundariless. And though you left my home vacant, I am still sure to lock the gates. For I could not take the thought of facing another intruder.
