Blessed with Faith?A Poem by Passengerdiscovering ourselves.
Pressure.
One word, yet so many feelings come to our minds. Every day We keep on pressuring ourselves And the worst part is that we don't actually see that. We force ourselves to wake up every morning Drive to our s****y jobs Earning dumb pappers that empowers our status.
Money. Is that all that there is? We get so anxious every day about those damn cuts of papper That we forget that our soul is the one who needs value. Not them. Worry. We keep on worrying that we are not enough. People tend tend to underestimate themsleves because the society speaks about getting better. Who's better than your own damn self anyway? Keep on pressuring yourself so you end up higher in society. Remind me again Where does this ''higher'' stops? Do you see God up there? If so, Please tell him he could've done better. He vanished telling us to care about others first When he should have taught us how to damn love ourselves before we start giving parts of us to other people. Believe in yourself. Have faith and hope in yourself. Learn to freaking love yourself. It may be cruel to say so But don't be just another dead body wanting to live but ending up not doing it. Don't be so harsh on yourself. It's your body that kept you alive all this time. It's your face that kept on giving you the pet talk each day you were so lonely. It's your attitute that earned you that promotion to work. Don't you dare forget who made you better Day per day Without even realising it. It was your damn f*****g self.
