Perfect In An Imperfect World

Perfect In An Imperfect World

A Poem by KIKI
"

The good and the bad

"

Trouble knocking on my door

Distress creeping on my floor

The best and the worst

From the east to the west

Diamond in the refinery

A soldier in the military

Both sweet and sour

keeping eyes on the final hour

Ubiquitous emancipation

Continuous anticipation

From 13th September to eternity

A triune ruler; the trinity

I am what I am

Sleeplessness at 3 a.m

Perpetual re-inceptions

No compromise, no exceptions

Proliferating the velocity

Somewhat humorous atrocity

Child of infinite intelligence

Liberality and benevolence

Essence and existence

Faith and persistence

Dark nights and sunny days

So bewildering in many ways

Painfully beautiful

Luckily awful

Joy and sorrow

Today and tomorrow

Lowliness and power

Imprisoned in a sacred tower

Enthralled by fear and audacity

Trembling knees and sheer tenacity

The changing of the seasons

The motives and the reasons

Shame and attraction

Sophistication and repulsion

Darkness and light

Wrong and right

I'm sinful and I'm holy

Immortal in a mortal body

I'm God and God is me

All that I'll forever be

Deep within me I behold

For I'm perfect..In an imperfect world
