The Hour of Pain

The Hour of Pain

A Poem by KIKI
"

He blessed the bread, He broke it & He gave it to the world

"
So vile and callous agony
Moment of inescapable melancholy
Lay thrashing around in anguish
Slinging over the hill to utterly perish

Oubliette of atrocious imprisonment
Excruciating infliction of solitary confinement
An occasion with inimical nature
A wrong-turn along the course of adventure

Apprehending sense of feebleness
Bound by the manacles of weakness
Heart racing like a contending stallion
Unequivocally crushed into oblivion

A chasm amid the former and the latter
Quandary manifesting as heart of the matter
Faith enduring the wallops of fear
The path is blurry, the picture is not clear

Groaning and weeping in the cold rain
Drowning and sinking down the drain
Almost conceding that life was just in vane
God replied & said; "it is just the hour of pain"
