God's Thing

God's Thing

A Poem by KIKI
"

One of the staff he made

"
From the thoughts of his noblest mind
Prior to the fundament of any kind
When the universe was still in conception
Before the maker had materialised his creation

He called the moon to shine at night
During the day the sun to give light
Seasons know when they should change
Nature is taught how to rearrange

In his likeness he brings forth man
Whom he made to live, love and learn

Mama's womb was his private studio
The genesis of my entire life's portfolio

Knowledge calls me a human being
Standing there thinking

"I'm actually God's Thing"
