Sucker

Sucker

A Poem by D. Nelson

The only question that I have is why she cant

look at my face without cracking a laugh

her cackle splits me in half like box-cutter

through my first draft and oh do I have to?

Must I slash you, off the piss list of b*****s

that itch at my trigger twitching finger

pointing at every snitch that ever twitched

a cocked milky eye in my general direction.

Its an infectious infection, this disease that I have,

rip your lungs to s**t and destroy every single

relief that you had and I believe that you had

quite a few, destroying me and tearing me up

to name a few so I'm looking at you

and asking for a another new pair of shoes

to piss on because this is lemonade.

Take a looky-loo, it made it just for you.

Yes I did make it myself I hope you hate it

as much as I hate your lips and your hips

telling lies just for giggles and s***s.

I never asked for a lot but thats what I got

so how can you hate me for taking it all

and painting the wall in a fall-shaded mural

of our love-hate trivial interactions

and infractions, fucked up moments

destroying your flowers trying to get some traction

and actions for attention so may I have your attention

ladies and gentlemen please look in my direction.

Heres another distraction so you better take action

to put me down and resurrect my a*s

just to kick it right the f**k out the front again

and then say your a fan can you sign this and...

oh I don't know call and say hello to my son

and leave flowers at our front door for

one more chance at a dysfunctional

function of lucky f*****g and ducking eachother..

I'm the wrong m**********r, so don't f**k with this

love-sick sucker any more cause you'll break him

and then thank him for the good time and leave,

and I'm left with nothing but time and it's the bad kind.

You're looking at me yet again and it's about that time,

so this time I'm taking note of the past

and leaving your a*s before you can leave mine.
