Step Within (part two)

Step Within (part two)

A Poem by D. Nelson
"

you were mistaken if you thought it was over.

"

So you thought it was over?
It could never be explained with a single piece
requiring of multiple insanity release
of disambiguations and terrible reformations
dark and lurking thought creeping in from far
its just for you
edition two,
of the improper circus and the truth
about the human mind zoo.

Caged and brought to be deranged
inside a self aware and symbiotic network
designed to be alert
for the sounds that will convert
the scared and the mentally impaired
into states of which we can relate
broke down and brought back to basic elements
atrocity, velocity and superior intelligence.

The ever expanding filaments
of the twisted universal universe
cannot be explained or contained
within the words of a single verse.
They can only continue to grow
perhaps even decide to reverse
and revert
back to the psycho analytic
infinitely perverse and  sadistic
and finitely simplistic to the point
where any soul would have to disappoint
its grimly uproarious puppet master.
It’s really a disaster,
that it can only grow and grow
faster and faster.
Bring it up and break it back down,
expand and grow until BAM,
right about time just to f**k up your flow
but that’s the way it goes.

It may seem as if you could understand
but I guarantee that you would fail
just as thought pump in  and you begin to flail
as you drown deep within the chilled waters of your mind
and finally reeled in close to death by a line
held firmly by the hands of the truth that’s isn’t quite banian.
These words... ripped from my mind
for I know the reality that this story will not end with me.

This ... messed with me (as another friend of mine would say) lol I caught ever word of it, and for a brief moment, began questioning my own mind.. incredible work. That last line gave me the chills.

Indeed, I thought it was over. lol Apparently, ... not. But then, is it ever truly... over?

This is a thinker... I like it..
Great work!
