Angels.

Angels.

A Poem by D. Nelson
"

i dont know how to describe it... i woke up this morning and wanted to write and this is what was in my mind.

"
Personally revised,
and brought back to be revived,
imperviously designed,
and flawlessly refined.
So much effort to bring something perfect,
so much talent that the ignorant could learn from it.
And still you cant seem to unlock your secrets.
Still caught up in all your' petty little regrets,
Your' contradictions,
distractions,
contributions and infractions.
Infringed upon by your' own intelligence,
bothered eternally by your' very irrelevance.
Until you can no longer breath,
so immersed in the world of your failures,
that you can longer see,
no longer eat,
No longer feel,
touch,
love,
smile,
or say...
can't explain the many reasons that you stray.
and your so turned within that you fail to look around...

...There's angels amongst us...

Just like you and I,
looking around scared and cant find a place to hide.
And even they don't no the feelings you confide.
They are the same,
and as you and me do,
they have those feelings too.
And they don't know where to put them just like you.
Now rearrange the them and change the toon,
attempt to end the battle before it started just so you can go home soon.
And when you lose yourself in the ruins of your burnt bridges,
you find that the truth is carved in the wall written mystery,
paint a picture in your mind and try to switch up the history.
you remain on the path on which you fail,
and it makes you makes you blind,
and one day when you wake up you will find...

there's angels amongst us.

it's like a song, you can almost hear the music behind this piece, I enjoyed it, you have an amazing talent, if this is what you can come up with from waking ... I'm impressed and not slightly envious...lol well done :D
