Her Soul Replenished

Her Soul Replenished

A Poem by D. Nelson
"

a vivid account of one of the most amazing moments of my life which seemed to be effected not only by the drug but the simple existance and presence of the girl of which i loved and her astounding transformation of mind and soul right before my eyes.

"

Fill’s her empty soul...

fill it to the top...

Passive distraction so much she can never stop,

her pupils expansive as the sky,

she loses her ability to lie,

and so in pain and discontent she sighs,

sigh of pain...

But covered with relief...

Given gift-like by her true friend,

wispy rise to the ceiling,

friend makes her feel as if

she could have her happiness to the end.

Sweet pleasure,

sweet revenge,

fills her soul with passion incapable to comprehend.

Tears from the day pull back from her eyes...

Pulling off her shaded face her only disguise,

her cover so complacently surmised.

Halcyon overtake the stormy seas of her intellect,

surpass the sadness that is her disease.

Her hands grasping unstudied behind my neck,

her face perched forward and steadily in front of mine,

selflessly giving and receiving pleasure,

confronting her hollow soul with her conscious replete mind.

Naked skin toned olive complection,

hazel eyes and lengthy legs are woven within her aesthetic collection.

But still her mind is remaining tampered,

carefully selected consensual intellectual oppressor.

The tempered voice of soulless speaking effortlessly to her.

And before my eyes I witness her reborn,

and a total un-repulsive neurological reform.

And I saw within her face the life of every being on the earth,

and every moment since the beginning and the universe’s birth.

Within those hazel eyes was the secret and felt urged to flee,

to run and bound from all that I had witnessed as my soul became listless.

And I speak now in vast abidance to the true reality of what was seen,

and the sooth of wisdom unspoken is her secret to remain serene.

So very expressive. A wonderful write. I imagine one soul shared by two bodies when I read this. Good work. Kudos.
