SwellA Poem by Emma DeBoerwritten in 2010
Reinforced footsteps
crush your elation. They press down deep in the most hidden emotions of your core. You're convinced that all hope has vanished. It slowly takes you down. Underneath the Earth. You couldn't possibly live through this. When the last silver tear falls from your being & into your essence, you know that you can never turn back. It takes a minute to let all the failure sink. Then after minutes of contemplating, you are finally gone. © 2013 Emma DeBoerFeatured Review
