Read My eyes

Read My eyes

A Poem by Emma DeBoer
"

written in 2010

"
You don't have to say
anything.
Don't move your mouth
at all.
I will do the working.
All I have to do
is simply,
look into your
eyes.
They shine brighter than the moon.
They speak louder than
one thousand voices.
I just have to trust them.
I have to hear them.
Soon enough I will know
what you're saying.
Maybe one day,
you'll learn to read my eyes too.

Young and fresh love promise. As if begging for a look from the eye rather than a heart that reads your whole body. NICE ONE.
