Treachery

Treachery

A Poem by Emma DeBoer
"

written in 2010

"
The way she looked at him.
The way she stole his heart.
The way she kissed his lips.
The way she squeezed his hand.

The way she had him.

The way she threw him away.
They way she looked at him.
The way she broke his heart.
The way she made his lips tremble.
This was the way she stopped his life.
