ThisA Poem by Emma DeBoerwritten in 2010
Reaching out to dilapidated hands.
Touching the cold, helpless skin. Sensing hope in those doomed to fail. Giving love to those lacking. Seeing happiness in the eyes of the lost. Letting conviction enter the unfaithful. Knowing mankind will find tranquility. Learning that all will die. This is what we must do. © 2013 Emma DeBoer |
