Lost OnesA Poem by Emma DeBoerWritten in 2010
We're not as alive as we appear to be.
Our souls are not desired, nor are our hearts. Your words fill our mentality with hurt. Ours go right through you. Dreading happiness and wallowing in depression Is all we have ever done. We're the ones who've lost. Our future has disintegrated. Some have died, all have failed. Either way, we aren't very much alive. If you join our side, You are liable to fall short. We see your side as a whole different dimension. We are trapped on this planet. All we ask, is not to survive- but to live! Save the lost ones © 2013 Emma DeBoer |
