Falling

Falling

A Poem by Digvijay Singh

Deprive me now, of your jewelled love
which you bring from the pond of pity
At late hours or in your pint loneliness
Of love that changes with moon's face
...
...
love only if you feel free to rain like clouds
If you can announce it on the rainbow arch
love me as loud as a firework's brust in sky
find me in star and between lines of songs
Love,
before the falling leaf touches the ground.

This reminds me of the relationship dynamics in which people stay close to someone despite growth being nonexistent.

In this case, the speaker asks to be deprived of that artificial love, but rather hopes for one that is described after. Very strong images of such love.

Thank you for sharing! :-)

This is an unexpected bright intense way of saying the thing I require from a friend/lover -- ya just gotta step up & be my friend/lover . . . feel it, do it, don't hang back . . . if being my friend doesn't come naturally & fully, then it just isn't there. No amount of nagging can make it be there, when it is not! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

"...love me as loud as a firework's burst in sky...before the falling leaf touches the ground..."

This could strum the chords of any heart. You have a mesmerizing technique that I find most alluring. Always such a pleasure to read you, Digvijay!
